My first tattoo which combines my two favourite books; The Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky and Looking For Alaska by John Green. These books helped me to deal with many feelings from something as simple as not fitting in to the bigger questions and my fear of death. They are still the words I turn to over and over and over again. The tattoo also represents my more light hearted and total Nerdfighter attitude to life ;)

Done at Pins and Needles, Newcastle.

my white ink paisley sleeve. the opposite of my black lace moon.

“Every one is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody.” -Mark Twain

I can’t say that this tattoo represents any specific part of my life. It is the light to my dark and the representation of the separate personalities I hold. The white symbolizes the fragility behind the strong person I have become and the tattoo is the infinite, ever-changing pattern of life and the karmic circle that guides me.

This is my second and latest tattoo taken today, 3rd of august 2011. It was taken by Kristina at Solid Tattoo in Stavanger, Norway. Kristina said she usually doesn’t recommend getting wrist-tattoos facing this way, but i was being kinda stubborn about it. I just adore it.

The symbol is the symbol of the Deathly Hallows from the Harry Potter series. The symbol has replaced the A in the last sentence of the last book. I got the inspiration for this from Albus Dumbledore, who has also used the Deathly Hallows symbol as the A in his name.

The epilogue of the last book occurs 19 years after the defeat of Voldemort. I chose to get this tattoo done 19 days after the premiere of the last film because of this. Added the punctuation last minute because it seemed fitting (even though fans know this isn’t really the end!).

The font used is scanned from the Bloomsbury publication of the book and enlarged. Just because. :) I don’t mind if it isn’t a 110% replica, but as you can probably already tell, i’m kinda crazy, so i just wanted to get that done on principle.

Tanks for reading!

This is my first but certainly not my last tattoo. I got it 2 years ago after the very hard divorce of my parents. It’s a piece of lyrics from my all time song: Famous Last Words from My Chemical Romance. I got it because my friends have always supported me trough everything that i’ve been trough and they showed me that i never need to be afraid to walk alone because they will always walk beside me.

Done by Sorin @ Dungarvan Ink, Ireland. The meaning of the tattoo is of leaving this town behind and going to where you want to be.

8th tattoo. Can’t get all of it into the picture. It’s from the song ‘Fix you’, by Coldplay… It says, “Lights will guide you home”. It is another tattoo that has to do with my sobriety. My best friend used to play this song whenever I was having a hard time and now whenever I listen to it, I’m reminded of the people in my life that have done so much to keep me alive
